They brought me Flick and Raya. Good people, greyt dogs. They and other greyhound groups are experiencing an uptick in need due to the permanent closing of the track in Mobile AL on 19Aug.“The Mobile, Ala. Greyhound Park is closing forever on Aug. 19 and 280 dogs MUST move into adoption NOW. Fosters are needed by all adoption groups. Not only is GPA/Nashville looking for foster homes, but all adoption groups would welcome your help. Reach out to your local GH adoption group and offer to foster a Mobile Hound – the only way any group can help is if they have committed foster homes. If you are unable to foster, consider contacting a group that does hauling… Greyhound Pets of America Emerald Coast or Alabama Greyhound Rescue and Adoption Center and make a donation to assist in paying for hauls – these hounds will be going as far as Colorado and Canada.” - Bowling Green-Warren County Humane Society
